You choose a dog on our website that you are smitten with and that dog becomes YOUR dog even though you can’t bring him/her home. You will be the guardian of this wonderful, needy animal. You support the dog by way of a reasonable monthly donation that is tax deductible, and you can walk YOUR dog if you choose though you don’t have to, you can visit your dog, bring him or her treats, and toys. You can essentially be its guardian and friend.

There are two levels of a Virtual Adoption membership that you can choose from:

SILVER membership: For $50 a month (or just $1.68 a day!) you can pick a dog of your choice and we will send you a picture of your dog (via email or regular mail) and a little bio/history of your dog. You will receive a Stray From The Heart T-Shirt, you will receive monthly updates on how your dog is doing, and what your generous donation is being spent on (for YOUR dog of course!). We will send you our Stray From The Heart newsletter, and let you know of upcoming events.

GOLD membership: For $100 a month (or just $3.32 a day!) you can pick a dog of your choice like the silver membership, but with the gold membership you can name the dog you anything you like and we’ll officially change it on our end. You will also receive a picture and a bio/history of your dog, and monthly updates just like with the silver membership. However with the gold membership you will also receive 2 free tickets free to an upcoming Stray From The Heart event!

Each membership has a 6 month commitment and you can either write a check or we can conveniently charge your credit card so that your donation will automatically be charged to your card every month!
