Tito -
A Struggle Well Worth it!
Tito, who arrived from Ecuador in early December, has been one of just two dogs from Ecuador with difficulty adjusting quickly to his new environment. Instead of the typical two to three weeks period of adjustment, it has taken Tito two months to figure out that world is safe and that suburban life in New Jersey is heaven on earth. Tito was adopted by Adam and Erika, both physicians who are now beginning to enjoy the fruit of their kindness, patience, and love for Tito.
LETTER FROM HOME:
Toni
Here are the pictures, as promised. Things are going really well. We want to thank you for all of your help when we were struggling in the beginning. Both my husband and Tito had some adjustment issues the first few weeks. Tito is doing better with strangers coming into the house. He still does not interact that well with the neighborhood dogs, but maybe that too will come with time. It is true that the first few weeks are hard work, but it sure seems like it will all be worth it in the end.

About Canine Amigos
Tito came from our Canine Amigo's from Ecuador project. If not for caring, devoted groups like Amigo Fiel in Ecuador, sweet little dogs like Tito would not have a chance to survive. We hope you consider, when thinking of adopting a special furry companion into your life, a Canine Amigo as your new best friend.
