Sylvana -
She can see the love!
Sylvana is a partially blind, 3 year old Yellow Lab who arrived from Ecuador last month. His new mom just emailed these pictures to share with us. Sylvana is doing great, loves her three year old daughter, long walks in central park, and big hugs and kisses from Halle.
Letter from Home:
I cannot tell you how much love our blond lab mix sylvana has returned to our household. This past summer our beloved best friend Lucy, a bernese mountain dog of exquisite beauty,died at 5 years old of cancer..our hearts were broken..fast forward to sfth's website where I could not get sylvana's image out of my mind...next thing I know there she is at baggage claim..calm and lovely ..I stayed in the den with her and my daughter climbed in the crate and fed her..which was a very telling sign of her gentleness...Sylvana now is almost housebroken..cuddles with me every night and is delicious and patient with children ..she is a gift of love and healing and I feel she looks at me with her beautiful one eye and says "THANKS MOM"....
