Pepe -
Soon to Be Couch Potato
Hi All,
Despite a bitter winter storm, I had the pleasure to join two very happy families' first reunion with Pepe, the blind 2yr old Poodle, and Mazie, the 1yr old Daschund from Ecuador. Both arrived at La Guardia happy and healthy. Can you believe Pepe? Despite his blindness, he has settled in nicely. Read this exciting little note and picture of Pepe's new home.

LETTER FROM HOME:
We had a nice ride back from the airport. As soon as we walked into the
apartment, Pepe's tail started wagging as soon as he met his new pals Clifford and
Oreo.
He has explored the whole place and has picked out a few of his favorite
pillows. As you can see, he takes after his daddy and went straight for the big screen TV.
Pepe had no problem finding the food and the water bowls. He's pooping and peeing in all the right places.
Oreo has decided that Pepe is HIS dog and has been palling around with him all night.
As many of you know, Oreo is usually the voyeur letting Clifford rough house
with the puppies.
About Canine Amigos
Pepe came from our Canine Amigo's from Ecuador project. If not for caring, devoted groups like Amigo Fiel in Ecuador, sweet little dogs like Pepe would not have a chance to survive. We hope you consider, when thinking of adopting a special furry companion into your life, a Canine Amigo as your new best friend.
