Pancho
Letter from Home:
Dear Toni
We have only had Pancho for two months but we feel like he has been with us forever. He was a year and four months when we adopted him and we were so surprised at how well he behaved and listened. From the minute we picked him up at the airport he won over our hearts. It did not take him long to be sitting comfortable in our laps looking
for cuddles. About 5 minutes, really! He loves to be brushed and
taken for long walks. He is a calm and lovable dog.
It never fails that we will be stopped on our daily walks and people will want to pet him and tell us what a cute dog Pancho is. He loves the attention and does not mind a few pats behind the ears both from children and adults. He has become our children's best friend. They have taught him to shake a paw and he will come to them when they call. He misses them when they head off to school and will head excitedly to the car when it is time to pick them up. He wakes them each morning and gives them a hug when they go to sleep each night.
We feel so lucky to have Pancho. He is a wonderful dog. Toni told us we were getting a 10 plus dog and she was right! We feel he must have been treated with love and care at his foster home in Ecuador. He listens well and is so smart and easy to teach. He is house broken and knows to sit quietly on his bed when we our eating our dinner. He gets along well with the other dogs in the neighborhood and looks for them when we head outside. We feel so fortunate to have him and cannot image life without him. Thank you to Toni and everyone at Stray from the Heart. We hope everyone is a lucky as we are to get a terrific dog like Pancho!
Thanks,
Allison
