Mattie - Rawhide Keeper

Stray dog Mattie's new home Its an email like this, with pictures like this, that make everything worth going through. Mattie, aka Sheila, was about to be put down at our city shelter...now look at her! it brings tears to my eyes when I see just how happy she is and what a wonderful life she has with you and your family. Romeo (another success story) looks great too.

Thank you Lucy, for spaying her and loving her and sharing your joy with us. For us, its the "big payoff"! Stray dog Mattie's new home

LETTER FROM HOME:

Hi Beth,

Happy new year! I hope you and all your animals are well.

Thought I'd send some recent pics of our beloved Mattie. She is the sweetest dog ever and we love her to pieces. We had Romeo, another Stray from the Heart dog and pictured in some of the photos, for 6 weeks over the holidays while his parents were in Australia.

Stray dog Mattie's new home

Mattie was perfectly pleasant towards him (except if he had a rawhide in which case she was determined to take it away at all costs...) but she seems relieved now that he's gone home. She seems content as 'only dog' and goodness knows she gets attention all day here. She is eating and playing more now that she's got her family to herself again.

...Thanks again for matching us with Mattie!

Sincerely, Lucy
