Take a look at some of our older friends that are looking for real homes to call their own. You may be suprised once you get to know our more mature guests, at just how much puppy they still have just waiting to get out. So, when you consider adopting a pet, consider the older companion. Someone with lots of experience with loyalty and love just waiting to walk by your side and lay by your feet. Having an older pet could be the best decision you've ever made.
An older dog can be a loving and treasured companion. Remember having to take the new puppy out every few hours to make sure he doesn't cofuse the backyard with the middle of the living room rug? What about the chewed shoes, the toilet paper strung all over the house and the 2:00 AM whining sessions? How about the constant need for playtime, leash training and all the behavior issues that come up? Wow, I'm worn out just thinking about it....
So keep your eyes open for some great older guys that want you to take them home and give them the best golden years they could ever dream of.
