Large Dogs: 50-80 lbs.

These are our wonderful large adoptables. All of our dogs are completely vaccinated and spayed/nuetered prior to adoption. We try to let you know of all pertinent information regarding each dog's traits and habits. Please click on an image to learn more about that dog.

Adopting a dog is a meeting of the heart as well as of the mind. It is a lifetime commitment to an animal that will be your loving companion and your best friend. We want to make this decision as easy as possible for you, so please consider fostering one of our dogs before you adopt to help alleviate the pressure you may feel.

Benson

Breed: American Bull Dog, Boxer, Mix
Age: Young
Sex: Male - Neutered

Every once in a while, a dog comes along that is just too good for words.

Oliver Twist

Breed: Am Staff, mix
Age: Young
Sex: Male - Neutered

Oliver! This big, sweet, silly dog was found tied to a fence in a Brooklyn park, on such a short leash he couldn’t even lie down.

Tatiana

Breed: Siberian Husky
Age: Young
Sex: Female - Spayed

Gorgeous Tatiana is a purebred Siberian Husky who came to us from the local high-kill. She is around 1 ½ years old and still acts like a puppy with her cute self.

Hero

Breed: Am Staff
Age: Young
Sex: Male - Neutered

When his owner was attacked, Hero protected her with his life and took 9 deep knife cuts to his face, head and neck. By the time the police arrived, the assailants were gone and Hero laid bleeding from his wounds.

Rayna

Breed: Greyhound, Pointer, mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female - Spayed

We found this gorgeous Greyhound/Pointer mix at the city shelter.

Bindhi

Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young
Sex: Female - Spayed

At a little over a year old and about 40 pounds, our little Bindhi is an absolute gem. Her favorite pastime is kissing people and she will sneak kisses like a samurai when you let her.

Breed: Border Collie Mix
Age: Young
Sex: Male - Not Neutered

I'm Shadow. I am so sweet. I'm about 1 yr old and I weigh maybe 45 lbs.
